All Light Industrial Staffing Temporary Employees assigned to client companies are guaranteed to perform to client satisfaction. Our clients retain the option of requesting an immediate replacement should a performance issue arise during an assignment.
- Patents LIS guarantees patent protection to all clients. Contract/Temporary employees agree prior to starting assignment, that their work developments are the property of the customer.
- Regulations To offer optimum flexibility to our clients, all LIS Contract/Temporary employees adhere to the clients regulatory policies and practices during the effective period of an assignment.
- Audits LIS maintains time cards and records for a period of 7 years. We guarantee the client, and any designated agency, the right to audit applicable time cards.
- Taxes LIS strictly adheres to the regulations of all government agencies. In keeping with the spirit and the letter of these laws, LIS withholds and pays all FICA, federal, state and local taxes. Payments for Worker’s Compensation and ULISloyment taxes are accrued and paid in a timely manner.
- Insurance LIS maintains superior insurance coverage. Our umbrella policy for Worker’s Compensation and Employer’s Liability is well in excess of industry norms. Please ask for details on our readily available declaration sheet.
- Invoicing LIS invoices clients weekly for all services. LIS will provide time cards signed by an authorized client representative verifying the hours worked. LIS uses several checks and balances to ensure accurate billing. All time cards are cross-checked using an automated computerized record system.
- Customized Invoicing LIS’s Information Technology Department is capable of generating both customized invoices and management reports. LIS can customize each invoice based upon individual billing requirements. Specialized purchase order numbers and segregation by department and/or job titles are just some of the many options LIS can provide you with our customized billing system.
- Straight Time Straight time billing rates are based on a work week of 8 hours per day, or 40 hours per week.
- Overtime Overtime billing rates apply to hours physically worked 40 hours per week or in excess of 8 hours per day, in accordance with the client’s policies and applicable state/federal regulations. In the event of a holiday, overtime shall be deemed as hours physically worked in excess of 40 hours less the holiday, unless otherwise specified by the client.
